A well-designed digital control system allows

line is based on this principle, and the multi-facted
Intellibox. The Intellibox is a true all-in-one digital unit with the
combined functions of a central unit, booster, locomotive controller,
accessory keyboard, route controller, s88 data monitor and computer interface. As your needs grow however, the Intellibox makes
it easy to build an elaborate customized control system since it
supports many add-on device formats including Märklin I2C,
s88, LocoNet, LokMaus, and RS232. Additional controls such as the IB-Switch, IB-Control,
IRIS, Switch-Control, and digital feedback modules can be integrated with the Intellibox to create virtually any level of manual or automated control

Intellibox-IR 65050 |
|
The all-in-one digital control unit from
Uhlenbrock! The IB forms the basis of a digital control system with its
integrated central unit, booster, locomotive controller and accessory
keyboard. The central unit is multi-protocol, which allows the IB to
simultaneously control DCC, Selectrix and Märklin Digital trains and accessories without any
additional equipment. And when you're ready to create automated layout
functions, the IB also has a built-in route controller, computer interface and s88 data
monitor mode for use with digital feedback modules. Further expansion of
the IB is made possible by additional Uhlenbrock LocoNet
devices (shown on this page) as well as Märklin Digital components.

IB-Control 65400 |
|
The IB-Control adds an identical set of
controls to the Intellibox, allowing additional locomotives and
accessories to be directly controlled. The IB-Control contains
many of the same great features as the Intellibox, including two
locomotive throttles, an accessory keyboard, s88 data monitor
mode, and an IRIS command monitor mode. The IB-Control
connects to the Intellibox over LocoNet and may be installed at
any location around the layout (up to 100m away) to provide
precise control wherever necessary. A 2-meter LocoNet cable is
included for connection to the Intellibox or other LocoNet
equipment.

IB-Switch 65800 |
|
The IB-Switch is Uhlenbrock's versatile
digital accessory keyboard and memory unit, with direct access
to 40 accessories or routes. The IB-Switch has two levels with
20 keys pairs each, any of which may be freely assigned to
control a single accessory or an entire route. Routes are easily
programmed by direct entry of the accessory address for each
step on the IB-Switch itself, requiring no other equipment for
programming. Any key on the IB-Switch may be activated
automatically when used together with a digital feedback module
or Switch-Control. The operating mode is easily selectable as
Manual or Automatic on the front panel. A 2-meter LocoNet cable is
included for connection to the Intellibox or other LocoNet
equipment.

Switch-Control 63400 |
|
The Switch-Control is used to interface a
track diagram control board (TDCB) with your digital control
system. When a switch or switch combination on the TDCB is activated, the
Switch-Control issues a command over LocoNet to control an
accessory or an entire route.
An indicator (lamp or LED) associated with a particular event
can be activated by the Switch-Control or any other device that
generates a matching accessory
or feedback command. All inputs and outputs of the Switch-Control are freely assignable
to any accessory or feedback command using the LocoNet Program feature of the Intellibox
(software version 1.3 and above). The Switch-Control
includes a 2m LocoNet connection cable.

IRIS InfraRed Remote Control 66500

The IRIS is an infra-red (IR) handheld remote
control for the Intellibox. Locomotives, accessories, and even
routes (stored in the Intellibox) can be directly accessed from
the IRIS. The Intellibox provides support
for up to four IRIS remote channels, which may be operated from
a single IRIS or multiple IRIS's. The IRIS Mode of the Intellibox
and IB-Control (software version 1.5 and up) allows you to monitor
the IRIS commands of each channel in real-time. The IRIS set
includes the IRIS remote, IR receiver with LokMaus connector, and Intellibox/IB-Control
v1.5 software.
The remote is also available separately for use with Intellibox-IR
or as an add-on for existing IRIS systems.
